Lack of Good Space Bedding
Where have all the good bedding sets gone? Are there no outer space bedding sets?
This post is less informative and more a simple rant so I apologize to everyone who is here purely for information. As I have worked on this site and searched for my own interests, I have discovered that there is a tremendous lack of really good space bedding sets. I don't understand why this is, but no matter where you look, most outer space bedding sets look tacky and as if someone just threw it together for a quick buck.
The logic behind this blows my mind. For most kids, outer space and dinosaurs are their fantasy lands, those great mysterious frontiers that they'll never experience but dream about constantly. As such, it's easy to understand why many children want a space themed bedroom with stars on the ceiling, rocket ship posters, and a bedding set with planets or stars on it.
The few sets I've seen have been incredibly patchy at best. They offer very ugly representations of the planets with low thread counts that are uncomfortable to sleep on. The images are often very poor quality, looking like someone did one of those t-shirt prints with a photo. The entire job looks like it would fall apart with just one use.
I ask this as an open invitation to everyone who visits the site. Have you found a great space bedding set that captures your child's imagination? I would love to see just one set that really inspires me, a set that captures the true mystery of outer space and makes a child excited to go to bed. There are tons of regular decorations to place in a room to achieve these dreams, so when will we finally see a bedding set to match. Can anyone provide a recommendation? I'd love to share it with the rest of our visitors.
